Light up your Independence Day weekend on the Southern Oregon Coast at Blast by the Bay, the annual waterfront fireworks celebration at Ko-Kwel Casino Resort | Coos Bay.
On Friday, July 3, 2026, the resort will host an evening of concessions, beer, wine and spectacular fireworks over Coos Bay. The display begins at approximately 10 PM and features 20 minutes of fireworks choreographed to music, creating one of the summer’s most memorable experiences on the Oregon Coast.

The waterfront display takes place in front of the resort and can be seen from many locations around Coos Bay. Guests attending at the resort can enjoy concessions, beer and wine in the North Parking Lot before the fireworks begin.

The celebration is held at Ko-Kwel Casino Resort | Coos Bay, formerly The Mill Casino, at 3201 Tremont Ave. in North Bend, Oregon. The fireworks are presented over the waterfront in front of the resort.
How long is the fireworks show?
The waterfront fireworks display is expected to last approximately 20 minutes.
What time should I arrive?
The event area opens at 7 PM. Arriving early provides more time to find a viewing spot, visit the concessions and account for heavier holiday traffic.
Is transportation available?
Yes. Shuttle service will operate between Pony Village Mall and Ko-Kwel Casino Resort from 7 PM – 12 AM. The mall pick-up and drop-off point is at the south end, between the mall and Pony Village Cinema.
Will food and drinks be available?
Yes. Concessions, beer and wine will be available in the North Parking Lot from 7 PM – 10 PM. Alcoholic beverages are available only to guests of legal drinking age.
Is the show accompanied by music?
Yes. The fireworks soundtrack will be simulcast on K-DOCK 92.9 FM. Guests viewing from other locations around the bay can tune in during the show.
