This year’s Salmon Celebration is our 21st annual event to showcase Native Culture.

FREE OUTDOOR FESTIVAL
A Celebration of Native and Coquille Tribal Culture.
This fun-filled weekend is full of family events and entertainment.
- Tribal canoe races (open to public)
- Indigenous marketplace and hands-on crafts and demonstrations
- Traditional salmon bake meal (available for purchase)
- Live entertainment with authentic Native American dancing and drumming

Celebrate Native and Coquille Tribal Culture
Guests can savor the rich flavors of freshly prepared salmon at our traditional salmon bake, enjoy cultural performances in the entrainment tent, thrilling canoe races on the water and free hands-on family activities, from making tulle headbands to dentalium necklaces. Guests may also shop handmade goods and artwork from Indigenous artists.
The festival located in the south parking lot outside the Ko-Kwel Casino Resort hotel. Bring the whole family for a great weekend of fun!

Pricing
Pre-sale meal tickets are $49 for adults and $35 for children ages 12 and under. Tickets are available in Ko-Kwel Gifts beginning August 21 and include a commemorative Salmon Celebration t-shirt (while supplies last).
Guests may also purchase their meal at the meal tent. The price for the meal without the t-shirt is $35 for adults and $20 for children.

Elders of the Coquille Tribe will also have a booth selling fry bread and fry bread tacos to raise money for their Elders programs.
