Light up your Independence Day weekend on the Southern Oregon Coast at Blast by the Bay, the annual waterfront fireworks celebration at Ko-Kwel Casino Resort | Coos Bay, formerly The Mill Casino.
On Friday, July 3, 2026, the resort will host an evening of concessions, beer, wine and spectacular fireworks over Coos Bay. The display begins at approximately 10 p.m. and features 20 minutes of fireworks choreographed to music, creating one of the summer’s most memorable experiences on the Oregon Coast.
The waterfront display takes place in front of the resort and can be seen from many locations around Coos Bay. Guests attending at the resort can enjoy concessions, beer and wine in the North Parking Lot before the fireworks begin.

Yes. Shuttle service will operate between Pony Village Mall and Ko-Kwel Casino Resort from 7 p.m. until midnight. The mall pickup and drop-off point is at the south end, between the mall and Pony Village Cinema.
Will food and drinks be available?
Yes. Concessions, beer and wine will be available in the North Parking Lot from 7–10 p.m. Alcoholic beverages are available only to guests of legal drinking age.
Is the show accompanied by music?
Yes. The fireworks soundtrack will be simulcast on K-DOCK 92.9 FM. Guests viewing from other locations around the bay can tune in during the show.
